Our Story

Hi, I’m Kya Anderson, the cook, recipe developer, and writer behind Kya Cooking.

My journey into the culinary world started when I realized how food has the power to bring people together. Growing up in Evansville, Indiana, I’ve always had a love for comforting food, but as I explored global flavors, I was inspired to create recipes that combine both comfort and creativity.

After honing my skills through various culinary experiences and connecting with a vibrant community of food lovers, I decided to launch Kya Cooking to share my kitchen adventures with the world. What started as a passion project quickly turned into a growing community of foodies, with a shared love for real, home-cooked meals that inspire connections.
