Ingredients

  • Cherry Syrup:
  • 2 cups frozen cherries Provides natural sweetness and a fruity flavor
  • ½ cup water To help create the syrup base
  • 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract Adds depth and warmth
  • ¼-1/3 cup allulose Low-sugar sweetener, adjust to taste
  • Cherry Latte:
  • 2-3 tablespoon cherry sauce Use homemade cherry syrup above
  • 1-2 shots espresso Freshly brewed for a bold flavor
  • 3 tablespoon milk of choice almond, coconut, or regular milk
  • 2 tablespoon heavy cream For a creamy texture, can substitute with dairy-free options
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract Optional, for extra flavor

Equipment

  • 1 Nespresso Machine Used to brew espresso
  • 1 Blender For blending the cherry sauce
  • 1 Milk Frother To froth the milk and cream
  • 1 Small saucepan For cooking the cherry syrup
  • 1 High-speed Blender or Immersion Blender For blending the cherry syrup mixture until smooth
  • 1 Glass For serving the cherry vanilla latte

Method

  1. Cook the cherries in a saucepan over medium heat, adding frozen cherries, water, and allulose. Simmer for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cherries soften and release their juices. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  2. Blend the mixture using an immersion blender or transfer to a blender. Process until smooth. If the syrup is too thick, add water to achieve desired consistency.
  3. Prepare 1-2 shots of espresso using a Nespresso machine or strong brewed coffee. Set aside.
  4. Froth the milk, cream, and vanilla extract with a milk frother or whisk until slightly foamy.
  5. Fill a glass with ice and pour the cherry sauce, followed by the brewed espresso and frothy milk mixture. Stir well to combine.
  6. (Optional) Garnish with a drizzle of cherry sauce or a sprinkle of cinnamon for an added touch.
