  • 1 tablespoon olive oil to keep the patties moist while cooking

  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper adds subtle heat
  • ½ teaspoon dried sage classic breakfast sausage seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder for gentle garlic aroma
  • ½ teaspoon brown sugar or maple syrup balances savory notes with mild sweetness

Method
 

  1. Combine the ground turkey, olive oil, salt, pepper, dried sage, garlic powder, and brown sugar in a mixing bowl, stirring until fully blended.
  2. Shape the mixture evenly into six patties using your hands.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add three patties and cook for 2–3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Remove cooked patties and repeat with the remaining three patties until all are cooked through.
  5. Serve the turkey sausages immediately with your favorite breakfast sides.
