  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder For that delicious garlic flavor
  • 1 teaspoon chopped parsley Freshens up the dish with color and taste
  • 1 pound spaghetti noodles Cooked according to package instructions
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For sautéing
  • 2 pounds ground beef Main protein, browned and seasoned
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic Adds a deep garlic taste
  • ½ yellow onion diced (Gives sweetness and depth)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning Adds a classic Italian herb blend
  • 1 teaspoon paprika For a subtle smoky flavor
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder Enhances the onion flavor
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Garlicy goodness
  • Salt & black pepper to taste (Season to your liking)
  • 3 cups 24 oz pasta sauce (For the base of the spaghetti sauce)
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded (To melt on top and create that cheesy goodness)

Equipment

  • 1 Large skillet Used for cooking beef and sautéing onions.
  • 1 Large pot For boiling the spaghetti noodles.
  • 1 Spatula For stirring and serving the beef and pasta mixture.
  • 1 Cast Iron Skillet or Oven-Safe Skillet Used for baking the stuffed bread bowls in the oven.

Method

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions. Set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and sauté the diced onions for 3-4 minutes, until softened.
  3. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, ensuring no pink remains.
  4. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 30-45 seconds, then drain excess grease.
  5. Season the beef mixture with Italian seasoning, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Pour in the pasta sauce and mix well.
  6. Add the cooked spaghetti to the sauce mixture and toss to combine.
  7. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Cut a circle from the top of each bread boule and hollow out the insides, leaving about 1-inch thick walls.
  8. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, garlic powder, and parsley. Brush this mixture inside each bread bowl.
  9. Fill each bread bowl with the spaghetti mixture and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and the edges of the bread are golden brown.
