  • 1 can 10.5-ounce condensed cream of mushroom soup undiluted, classic style
  • ¾ cup milk whole or 2% for creaminess
  • 1 cans 2.8-ounce French fried onions divided, crispy style
  • ½ teaspoon salt adjust to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper freshly ground if possible

Method

  2. Preheat oven
  3. Combine the green beans, condensed soup, milk, and half of the fried onions directly in a casserole dish until evenly coated.
  4. Place the dish in the oven and bake until the mixture is hot and bubbling throughout, about 25 minutes.
  5. Scatter the remaining onions evenly over the surface and return the dish to the oven for 5 minutes, then season with salt and pepper and allow to rest briefly before serving.
