Ingredients

  • 1 cup strawberries fresh, stems removed and diced
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt 2% or higher fat for creamy texture
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract pure for aromatic flavor
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips high-quality for smooth melting
  • 2 teaspoon coconut oil helps chocolate harden with a glossy finish

Equipment

  • 1 Large mixing bowl for combining yogurt and fruit
  • 1 Knife for dicing strawberries
  • 1 Cutting Board to safely chop the strawberries
  • 1 Baking sheet lined with parchment paper for easy removal
  • 1 Parchment paper prevents clusters from sticking
  • 1 Small, deep microwave-safe bowl for melting chocolate evenly
  • 1 Spoon for scooping clusters and dipping in chocolate

Method

  1. Wash, trim, and dice the strawberries into small pieces.
  2. Combine diced strawberries, Greek yogurt, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl.
  3. Stir the mixture thoroughly until every piece of strawberry is covered in yogurt.
  4. Scoop about 2 tablespoons of the strawberry-yogurt mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing evenly.
  5. Place the tray in the freezer for 30-45 minutes until clusters are firm.
  6. While clusters freeze, place chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl.
  7. Melt chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring between, until smooth. Let it cool slightly before dipping.
  8. Dip each frozen cluster into the melted chocolate using a spoon, coating evenly, then return to the parchment-lined tray.
  9. Allow the chocolate to set for several minutes at room temperature.
